Bellevue had their Pride month kickoff at City Hall today, with performances by drag queen Maya Maamsir and several different singing groups. The Bellevue PD Honor Guard did the raising of the Progress flag. There was also a memorial to Juniper Blessing set up between two of the vendor booths. Pratt light crowd with the rain and the event being during work hours but lots of warmth from people who were there. Two women had a booth with a banner that simply said “FREE MOM HUGS” and they said someone came up to them for a hug and cried a bit and said they felt better afterwards ❤️ submitted by /u/bennetthaselton |
