Thanks to Lura Ercolano for the view of the Duwamish River and Mount Rainier from the bridge this morning. Tomorrow (Saturday, October 17) is the day the river and its watershed get lots of TLC from volunteer restoration and cleanup events, in West Seattle and beyond, during the fall edition of Duwamish Alive! If you’re not already signed up for one, check the list on the Duwamish Alive! home page, to see where they’re still looking for help. Even if you’re not volunteering, you’re invited to the 10 am welcoming ceremony at White Center Heights Park (10208 7th SW) and the afterparty at the Current Festival at Duwamish Waterway Park in South Park (7901 10th Ave. S.), starting at 1 pm.
