Hey everyone, I’m 23M and moved to Bellevue about a month ago for a tech job. I work from home and currently live near Crossroads Mall.
I like the area overall. There are a lot of good restaurants around Crossroads and Bellevue, but making friends here has been much harder than I expected. Since I work from home, I also don’t really get the chance to meet coworkers or people naturally during the week.
I tried Meetup, but most of what I found was either tech meetups or board game groups, and I honestly hate both of those as social activities. I’m looking for something a little more casual and normal.
Weekdays are fine because of work, but weekends can get pretty boring when I have nothing planned. I also don’t have a car, so that limits things a bit.
For people around my age in Bellevue, especially near Crossroads, what do you usually do on weekends?
Any good places, activities, social groups, sports, events, or other ways to meet people that don’t revolve around tech or board games and are accessible without a car?
