Doing my part with the invasive blackberries

19 jars of syrup and 2 jars of jelly last night, and this barely made a dent with the small patch by my house. Also spent collective 20-30hrs cutting them back. Got 2x more in the freezer and still collecting every day.
Syrup is great in milkshakes, lemonade, on pancakes, etc!

My recipe:
10 parts blackberries
5 parts sugar
1 part lemon juice
Crush up and mix in pot, boil for 2 min.
Strain it (I like to use cheesecloth)
Return to pot and simmer for a few more mins.
For jelly just simmer until it bubbles slower and leave overnight for it to set.
