I am diagnosed schizoaffective bipolar type, and while I’ve found stability in my life, if, god forbid, something happens and I need to be hospitalized again, I’d like to be able to keep my cellphone. I know that usually people say that cellphones are detrimental to recovery, but I generally have good insight when I’m psychotic, and I have friends that I can only contact through discord that I’d like to be able to stay in contact with. I know that Swedish Edmonds allows you to use your cell at the desk to send quick texts or get passwords or 2FA codes and stuff, but I want to be able to have my phone with me to talk to people.
P.S. If anyone finds this thread in the future searching for similar facilities, if you can help it don’t go to South Sound or Smokey Point. They’re both bad.
