I’ve lived all over America. California 3 years. NYC, Chicago, Boston, Austin, and Denver. Backpacked Europe and Asia. Hiked mountains and coast lines in Japan, Korea, Spain, and Italy. Washington is the only place where I got a live feel for egregiously segregated spaces. And yes I’m a man of color noting predominantly white families enjoying privatized beach access and recreational areas. I’m paying a lot in rent to live in this neighborhood and cant even walk to the park or beach access closest to me.
