One thing that resonated with me at the rally was a shared conversation one of the speakers, an educator, had with another educator from the MN. He asked what advice she could provide Seattle with regards to ICE. She said, “Be prepared”.
I am a Minneapolis transplant, been here for over two years, and my social media feed is still very MN centered. While I cannot confirm if it is true, my conversations with some of my Seattle friends, even the more well informed one, makes me feel like news from MN is spreading either very slowly or not at all, even the big events, there could be a number of reasons for this, and maybe its just my friend group and you are all in the know, regardless, I just wanted share some more local new sources from MN if anyone is interested.
I believe that if this regime continues unchecked that their conduct will be not confined to MN. I want Seattle to know what it’s like and to be prepared if an ICE occupation ramps up in Seattle.
If you have instagram I would highly recommend following the news outlets, they post a lot of videos from MN.

One instagram account I really like is @ nickvalencianews he’s a journalist that has been doing some really great coverage of MN news.

Anyways, thank you for being so awesome Seattle! My entire (immigrant) family and many friends are back in Minneapolis and my anxiety has been through the roof thinking about what is happening. It’s been really comforting to be out there protesting with you all!
