I went to Bellevue college almost 15 years ago and it was pretty common on the first day for teachers to play these awkward “let’s get to know everyone” games. Basically some variation of one by one introduce yourself and tell us a fun fact. I’m shy and speaking to a crowd of strangers gives me anxiety so I hated the entire first week of every quarter. (It gets better as I get familiar to the people and setting over time and I genuinely do enjoy learning.)
Is this still a thing?
I have quite a bit of free time these days and was floating around the idea of taking some classes for fun.
