I’m staying in an apartment in SLU and we have a front desk/concierge for handling packages and guests. Usually when we get packages they go into a locker, mailbox, or a package room behind the lobby front desk.
I got a package today delivered and usually this packages would go into the locker or package room. Today it was delivered inside my house without my permissions or notice ahead of time. The front desk e-mailed me with a picture of package on my kitchen table as “proof for delivery”. This has never happened before. This is a major invasion of partner’s and I privacy.
What actions should we take against my apartment complex?
Is what they did against the law?
What can I do to prevent this from happening again?
I just don’t know what to do next as we are shocked that they did this.
Any comments or information would be helpful, thanks!
