Do you have a guest room in Seattle you’d be willing to trade?

Hi all, my guy and I (mid 30s) live in Port Townsend WA in a 3 bed/1 bath house with a yard. It’s lovely, but being originally from San Francisco, I miss city life.

I’m hoping to make a friend or two in Seattle who have a guest room so I/we can escape out there every once in a while. In exchange I’d be happy to host your escape from city living out here.

Port Townsend is a vacation destination with a historic Victorian town, theater, active sailing community, drive in movie theater, sauna, skate park, art and music scene, etc.

We have a guest room with a queen bed and TV, and a window that looks out to the street and thicket/woods across the way. I even have an extra vehicle you can use for short distances if you know how to drive stick. If you really make friends with my other half, he might even let you take a motorcycle out…

I met my partner on a roadtrip in 2021, we went on 1 date, and basically locked immediately in. 5 years later I’m still out in an area I wasn’t quite expecting. I work in cybersecurity remotely, but he works in person with at risk youth and is the local middle school basketball coach. I haven’t had the chance to make many friends in Seattle because of the distance, or I’d be happily crashing someone’s couch right about now.
