Do you really just tune out the sirens eventually? (Capitol Hill)

I’m moving forward with an apartment on Pine Street. Funny enough, as we’re doing the tour, a fire truck came screaming down the street and I’m reminded of how frequently Capitol Hill folks hear sirens.

My main questions:

Is it true that eventually you just tune them out?

What has your experience been wfh with frequent sirens? Does it ever come off as unprofessional? Or simply disruptive?
