Does anyone else smell that? What is it? Smells like death or garbage, smelled it at home and work.

I live in West Seattle, and this morning I woke up with my apartment smelling faintly of something nasty, so I checked the litterboxes, upended the kitchen looking for food that fell behind something, and the garbage disposal, all clean.

Then I stepped outside and the smell was worse.

Then I drove to Renton to pick up some breakfast before work, and that same exact smell was emanating.

And then getting to work in Tukwila, the smell is even worse throughout this area.

I was worried it was me, I pulled my clothes directly out of the driver and thought maybe something died in my dryer or something(I have a theory there’s a bird nest in the dryer vent because of noises I sometimes hear), but I asked my coworkers and they said they smelled it too. So thank god it’s not me.

Anyways, this is my second summer in Seattle, is this a normal occurrence when it gets warm?
