My dog was attacked today while my husband was walking him past Western/Battery. A woman who appeared to be in her 60s lost control of her pitbull and viciously attacked my dog. The woman was finally able to get control of her dog, mumbled something, got in her car and drove off. Husband was able to snap a photo of her license plate before she got away. Currently I’m sitting in surgery with my dog and am an absolute wreck. My poor boy is likely going to need a second surgery, and the vet said the trauma is so bad some of the skin on his chest might die. 911 was absolutely worthless in helping, SPD won’t take a report, and animal control was closed by the time I could even think calling. If anyone sees this car, or an old woman with a grey pitbull please be careful! submitted by /u/BombsJello |
