Help Friend Find Missing Bike (Trike)

My friend’s adult trike was stolen last night from their apartment on Stone Way and N 94th (a block away from Aurora). They are devastated, it’s their only form of transportation and they put so much of their time and money into it. They are already struggling financially and don’t have anywhere near the funds to replace it. It’s motorized and has a very distinct look, purple with polka dot seat and backrest (see photo). Please message me if you know anything, or where we might look for it, what recourse she might have. Would the apartment be liable at all? It was stolen from the garage in her apartment building, it’s possible the side door had been left unlocked, I don’t know if the trike itself was locked up to anything while in the garage.
