I’m trying to buy more local gifts this year and have hit up a couple of markets where I scored some cute stuff. There are a lot of talented people selling their creations who will appreciate your business much more than the soulless billionaires will. Just avoid the AI slop and mass produced junk. That stuff is easy to spot. The markets I’ve been to so far haven’t had any of those vendors. Axios has a list of markets.
