I love the “Seattle Freeze”!!

I’m from the South, Texas specifically, and I always hated having random people in public try to start conversations with me. I didn’t know them and I didn’t want to talk to them. Sometimes I’d be in line at the grocery store and some idiot would be going on and on about whatever with the cashier. I’m polite, but I’m only friendly with people I know and care about. I do NOT miss the expected fake friendliness of South at all. It is a cultural norm I never enjoyed or cared to follow. I like how people just leave you alone here. It’s great!!!
