Missed connection: guy with off leash dog

I was walking across the street from you with my sweet but occasionally leash reactive golden retriever. Your off leash dog charged from across a road. In response to my calmly asking you to “please control your dog”, you helpfully explained that I did not have to be a dick about it.

You’re right, I don’t have to be a dick about it, but you would deserve it even if I had been. If I wasn’t on a work call at that moment, I would’ve explained to you that your irresponsibility is putting your dog and other dogs at risk, and that you’re a fucking moron, and the least you could do is apologize for your inconsiderate dog ownership.

I don’t even mind dogs being off leash, but when your dog lacks the self control to stay on the side of the road you are on to come aggressively greet another dog, you’re the fucking dick.

For everybody else: If you keep your dog off leash, please only do so if the dog is completely within your control. Thanks.
