That’s the West Seattle Junction ballot drop box, currently the fourth busiest in Seattle. King County Elections stats show that 16.5 percent of voters in City Council District 1 have returned their ballots so far, and while you have 10 days until the deadline, time goes fast. If you need an impetus for marking your ballot and turning it in, tomorrow (Sunday, October 25) is the day for West Seattle Indivisible‘s “Bop to the Box” community procession, leaving St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church (3050 California SW) in Admiral at 2 pm and marching cheerily south to the Junction drop box (on the south side of SW Alaska between California and 44th) starting around 2:30 pm, with signs, music, more – details here. Even if you’ve already voted, WSI says, you’re invited to join the celebration.
