Usually when folks visit Seattle’s Pike Place Market, it’s during the day — and mobbed. Seriously, moving through here sometimes feels like the Running of the Cruise Ship Passengers. Though, to be fair, it’s plenty mobbed on days when cruise ships aren’t in town. Which is why it was fun to visit on a weekday evening a few weeks ago, right after things closed up. I got to walk the hallways and have them entirely to myself. But thanks to all of the great neon, it was still pretty photogenic. Exactly the kind of photography I like best! My favorite pic might just be where I almost managed to position the “Fresh” fish sign right above the sign pointing to restrooms so it says Fresh Restrooms.
