As a resident of the Hollar Lake neighborhood I’ve been really excited about Winco entering the blight zone left behind many years ago by Sam’s Club. It will bring more people into an area that businesses like Kidd Valley and Amazon Go have recently vacated. Everything is closing on that strip of Aurora and it’s having a compounding effect on our neighborhood.

my question is, how did the dang Sam’s Club exist if it would impact the water supply and how is having a blight better than having a Winco.
I‘m not super surprised that this venture is being tied up in red tape, but I am extremely disappointed that an environmental lawyer would have nothing better to do with his time than pander to grocery store wars.
