Ridwell employee tried to enter my home??

I live slightly north of Greenwood. This afternoon someone enthusiastically knocked on my front door and then tried the knob (it was locked).

My partner asked through the door who they were and what they wanted. They pretended to know me, saying “it’s Paige, is OP there?” We don’t know anyone by that name, so my partner asked again who she was. Then she said she was “Paige from Ridwell” and was following up on a postcard they had sent me. My partner said we’re not interested and she left.

Anyone have thoughts? Could this be a real tactic Ridwell is using to get customers? It seems WILD to try to just open someone’s front door. Or was it more likely a scammer who’s staking out the place and knows my name? Not sure how paranoid to be, if I should raise a complaint with Ridwell, or what.
