SPD is so short-staffed that they’re only able to raid nude beaches, gay bars and homeless camps

Over the last few years, we’ve seen that SPD is apparently so short-staffed that they don’t even respond to many calls and at one point stopped investigating sexual assaults. However, in that same period they’ve found time to:

–Harass nude beachgoers

-Participate in a task force that photographed gay bar attendees while trying to hunt down exposed nipples

–Oversee 2,800 encampment sweeps in 2023 alone

Really raises some questions about the city’s priorities!
