I’ve seen a lot of random Star Wars art around Seattle but this is the first I’ve seen to feature some non-household-name characters like Maz Kanata. Local muralist Charms Won painted it in 2023: That Instagram shows the whole height of the wall. It has a lot of blackberry bushes hanging over it in the pictures that I took just now, but you can still see most of it. On the plus side, if you go visit it, you can also grab a lot of blackberries. The closest unambiguously legal street parking is on 60th Ave S (either north or south of MLK). The mural is also next to a permanently closed dispensary called Have A Heart, so you might not be hassled if you park in their parking lot for a minute, but if you’re worried about getting yelled at or towed, park on 60th 🙂 submitted by /u/bennetthaselton |
