I heard from a friend commuting there was a lot going on at Westlake, including seeing someone get CPR. It hasn’t made the news yet, but the SPD posted on X: “Police investigating homicide in the 400 block of Pike St. A 67 y/o man was found unconscious and later pronounced deceased. A 39 y/o man is currently in custody. Bus lane block on 4th Ave. Please avoid the area.”
This is different from the other recent homicides, it was in daylight, it was an elderly person, it doesn’t seem like a gun was involved and there was an arrest. Stay safe out there there!
