A few people asked for an update so here it is. I was able to get the car fixed thanks to a lovely redditer who came out and did the work for free. Thanks, dude, you’re truly the best. As far as the kids who broke into the vehicle, I was scrolling on tiktok (don’t come at me) and saw a video of some of the same kids being arrested down by Othello. I have not heard anything from the cops, but I’m just gonna consider that aspect of it over. While my tenacity was entertaining for some when it happened, once the car was drivable again, I didnt care as much about finding them. Karma seemed to work it all out in the end.
