My wife just got rear-ended at a stop light by a driver that doesn’t have insurance. I’m not sure there’s enough damage to go through my insurance and have them try and extract money from the uninsured driver.
She called 911 to file a police report, and the officer just said it was pretty normal these days to see one of the drivers not have insurance. I don’t understand how you can have valid tabs without showing proof that you can drive the car responsibly?
The only thing that happened to this guy was that he got a traffic citation. If you’re going to let people drive without insurance, shouldn’t the penalties at least be a little more severe?
