Multiple readers asked this morning about a police pursuit that ended near 16th SW and SW Webster around 1 am today. It wasn’t a Seattle Police situation, so it wasn’t on our radar, but we tracked down the information: It was a King County Sheriff’s Office pursuit that started in Burien and eventually crossed northboundinto West Seattle. Here’s what KCSO tells us:
This morning about 12:45, deputies responded to a call for a traffic stop at SW 148th St and 6th Avenue SW.
The driver was suspected of driving under the influence, so deputies initiated a pursuit. They were able to take him into custody and book him into the King County Jail.
The car he was driving was also confirmed stolen.
The suspect was arrested for possession of a stolen motor vehicle, DUI, eluding a police officer, and possession of narcotics.
