Heads up, Seattle budget watchers: A proposal from @cmdionnefoster.seattle.gov that would require the mayor to propose, and the council to adopt, a budget that’s balanced in the long term could be replaced by a competing measure from Bob Kettle that would exempt the council from the requirement.
