Foot ferry news: Seattle to Poulsbo

As a foot ferry afficianado (see https://www.reddit.com/r/Seattle/comments/1ue4dq9/6_months_of_foot_ferries/ ), I will be taking a daytrip to Poulsbo in December on a just-announced Clipper holiday cruise. https://poulsbo-express.frs-clipper.com/ This is the same company that runs the Victoria Clipper, so the boat loads at the same dock downtown.

At $99 (a couple of Fridays) or $119 (Sat/Sun), this is one of the more expensive ‘foot ferries’. It’s more expensive than our trip to Stehekin, but not as expensive as the regular Clipper or one of the whale watching trips to Friday Harbor. Given the kid-friendly amenities onboard and the activities they advertise in Poulsbo, they’re clearly aiming to get families interested.

Stay tuned for the report on our next 6 months of for ferries (July-December) shortly after.
