There’s a lot of other great food banks, like u district food bank, but I’m recommending Ballard as well if you’re in metro Seattle. They have a lot of fresh, good food and they also have a cafe where they’ll serve you two meals. Today it was split pea soup. It’s just a reminder because people think they have to be in dire straits to use a food bank, but you don’t.
Unlike a lot of other places, you don’t have to really stand in line. They let you sit down inside and it’s a really cool atmosphere.
The U district food bank has a similar daily cafe that’s really cool.
